Have you ever noticed that there are certain Tops who manage to be marvelously “toppy” even when their mode of communication is limited to the blogosphere?  They manage to make lots of girls strive to not only be on their very best behavior, but to also do their very  best to write openly and honestly.

These girls are thrilled if one of these Tops takes notice of their efforts.  If you don’t believe me, just look at what Poppy got this week, how thrilled Poppy, Pink and I were to be Chrossed, how flattered Pink and I were to be included in MarQue’s Study Weekly, and how a girl blushes when Devlin O’Neill says “well done, young, lady.”

And when a girl feels slighted or unnoticed by these Tops, bouts of pouting may ensue.  Pink is honest enough to admit to her pouting but there are undoubtedly other pouty faces out there when a girl’s work goes unnoticed — or at least unsung — during any given week.

Have you ever wondered if these marvelously “toppy ” Tops have always been this way?  I am certain that they have been.  In fact, I have stumbled upon a picture of one of our favorite Tops in his youth.  Care to tell us your best guess as to who this pint-size Top is?

Which Top Is This?

  1. When Tops Fail To Carry Out Their Responsibilities: Two Movies That Really Needed Spanking Scenes

  1. A wonderful piece and one whose sentiments I applaud whole heartedly.
These kind, gentle but oh so stern and deliciously strict men make the blogoshpere a more happy place to be. They provide a lift for a girl who does really aim to please. I really believe that they set an example for how to make the world a better place. They show qualities of being all that we really want men to be and on spanking blogs! A place where if they were all bleugh, smarmy and pervy everyone would understand. But they set a high bar and we love them for us, even if they do bend us over it every now and again.
May I add Dave Wolfe to the list?
    xx

  2. I hope it is ok but I posted about this piece and asked people to come here to read this.
I really do think it is fantastic.
    xx

  3. I loved this, and yes, as much as what I “hate” to admit it, their comments on a blog, creates a rather warm feeling of “I have done well”.
Okay, to be honest, that is most of the times…there are times that I have been ordered to report to a study or certain parts of my anatomy are being threatened…but I am sure those are just small misunderstandings.
Oh, and I did vote. Loved that bit!!

  4. Where did you get that picture?

  5. A lovely post. Here’s to the blogging Tops!

  6. I’m not sure whether to say thank you, or you’re welcome, Arianna, but in any case it’s wonderful to know that my input makes a difference. :-)

  7. Fun post, Ari!

Isn’t it funny that across the miles, over the internet, we can glow at their praise? It really does speak to our natures, and theirs. And the tops you mentioned are so…classy. Über Tops.

  8. Arianna, this was wonderfully said, and so right. I have great respect for the Tops I play with online, and that respect is earned. They are consistently kind, fair, funny, warm, smart and deliciously Toppy in all the right ways. First came respect, and then genuine liking. And now they are friends, whom I treasure.

    Here’s to the men, girls.

  9. I would love that photo to be Dev, but I suspect it isn’t. We do have some lovely Tops around don’t we, but it doesn’t do to tell them that too often!

  10. I hope you get to be with your beloved on Valentine’s Day.
    Hugs to you both
    Poppy
    xx

  11. That does sort of look like me at that age, but it isn’t. Sorry. ;-)
